Do you have any case studies where this solution has been used for networking fire panels?
At the moment we do not have such case studies published in our Use Cases section, if you or the client will have to implement something similar we engage you to share this on the Share your Solution section, so we can make it publicly available for a broader audience.
Can the unit FTP upload data to a SCADA for Modbus devices? How many Modbus devices can the unit monitor on a single segment?
The maximum number of devices for an RS232 connection is 1, while on RS485 is 32.
FTP is available through TCP/IP.
What is the TRB256 power consumption in comparison to TRB255?
Power consumption for TRB255 is Power consumption Idle: < 1.2 W, Max: < 5 W, while for TRB256 power consumption is Idle: <2 W, Max: <3.5 W. For more information in regards of TRB256 power consumption please refer to our Wiki page.
Does TRB256 have 4..20mA analog input?
Unfortunately, no, 4-20mA is not available
What mobile antenna will be used with the device?
To support 450Mhz you need to attach a mobile antenna with 450MHz support. Our suggested option is already available in the accessories section on our website.
