Los dispositivos de la familia TRB están diseñados para ser pequeños, livianos y energéticamente eficientes, lo que le permite realizar proyectos de IoT con facilidad. TRB142 viene con un puerto RS232 ampliamente utilizado para la administración remota de dispositivos. Contiene un procesador ARM Cortex-A7 1.2GHz de alto rendimiento y 128 megabytes de RAM. Está equipado con capacidades LTE de misión crítica y un entorno Linux que ofrece un alto grado de personalización.
