Connectivity is evolving, and so are the regulations that shape it. As of August 1, 2025, compliance with the updated Radio Equipment Directive (RED) becomes mandatory in the European Union. All wireless devices placed on the EU market must now meet enhanced cybersecurity requirements to be eligible for CE marking.

We’re proud to announce that all Teltonika networking devices are now RED compliant, meeting the latest EU standards for safety, electromagnetic compatibility, radio spectrum efficiency, and cybersecurity. This ensures our products are ready for the European market and aligned with the region’s growing focus on secure, reliable connectivity.

Why RED Compliance Matters

The RED framework outlines what is required for wireless devices to be safely used and sold in the EU. With its latest update, the directive introduces mandatory cybersecurity requirements that raise the standard for how connected devices protect users, data, and networks.

By ensuring RED compliance across our portfolio, we help clients reduce security risks, simplify regulatory approval, and prepare their IoT solutions for the future. This ensures that Teltonika products deliver not only performance but also long-term reliability and trust.
