RMS security approved by Bell
Cyber security is one of the biggest threats to businesses worldwide as cybercrime related damages are projected to reach $6 trillion annually by 2021. Teltonika Networks Networking division hardware and cloud services provide connectivity to more than 150+ countries and businesses worldwide. Majority of these applications empower critical infrastructure; therefore, security is always priority for Teltonika Networks.
Teltonika Networks has taken steps to engage in additional testing of its Remote Management System (Teltonika Networks RMS) potential vulnerabilities with external expertise of Bell Canada Cyber Security Team and Enquêtes Forensik inc. to validate security measures taken to ensure maximum protection against threats of cybercrime.
Bell Canada’s Security Testing and Incident Response Team (STIRT) used VA methodology based on the PTES and Open-Source Security Testing Methodology Manual (OSSTMM) developed by the Institute for Security and Open Methodologies (ISECOM). Conduct of web application VAs follow the same basic methodology extended to include developments from the Open Web Application Security Project’s (OWASP) Testing Guide. The scope of this engagement by Bell Canada Cyber Security Team and 3rd Party (Enquêtes Forensik inc.) consists of the remote security testing against RMS environment rms.teltonika.lt.
We are happy to share conclusions by Bell Canada Cyber Security Team stating that the security posture of Teltonika Networks’s RMS web application was found to be good, with no vulnerabilities identified during the retest which indicates that Teltonika Networks’s RMS web application is currently at low risk.Read more about Remote Management System
