Вопросы и ответы // Ваше местное время
Во время вебинара Вы задали много вопросов, и на некоторые из них были даны ответы в конце прямой трансляции. И здесь мы хотели бы поделиться с вами всеми вашими вопросами и ответами:
Q: We need to load our own python library. Is there enough room for that?
A: It depends on the library size. At the moment TRB143 device offers more than 100MB of flash memory and about 50MB of ram memory available for userspace. Majority of libraries should fit in to the device
Q: Regarding to RS485 interface, is it possible to give support to IEC-62056-21 Electric Meter protocol? Are we able to develop such protocol with ourselves if device SDK exist?
A: It's possible to add IEC-62056-21 support for TRB143 by using our SDK
Q: What programming languages are supported on device? Python?
A: Currently our device support C,C++, shell, Lua, Python programming languages
Q: Can the router discover M-Bus slaves and set their primary address? Or do you need a separate tool?
A: At the moment TRB143 device does not have software support for changing M-Bus devices primary addresses
Q: What are the differences between Modbus interface and 485?
A: Modbus is a communication protocol that allows different devices to communicate with each other, while RS-485 is a standard that defines the physical layer of the communication, specifying the electrical signalling, the connector pinout, and the cable.
Q: Who's Meters are compatible with Wireless M-Bus?
A: TRB143 should support all meters that are using standard M-Bus communication
Q: Who do you see as your target custmers?
A: Utility companies, building management companies, renewable energy management companies, industrial customers, smart meters’ manufacturers and integrators.
Q: Who's meters are compatible with M-Bus?
A: M-Bus (Meter-Bus) is a European standard communication protocol used for the remote reading of utility meters. Some examples of manufacturers that produce M-Bus compatible meters include:
Kamstrup, Landis+Gyr, Elster, Iskraemeco, Sensus, Itron, EKM Metering, Actaris Metering Systems, Wasion Group, Sanxing.
It's important to mention that, this is not an exhaustive list and there are many other manufacturers that produce M-Bus compatible meters. When selecting a meter, it's important to check the manufacturer's specifications to ensure that the meter is compatible with the M-Bus protocol and that it meets your specific requirements.
Q: Does the router support channel bundling from bondix intelligence? https://www.bondixintelligence.com/
A: Yes, every Teltonika Networks router function is compatible with Bondix services. Though, keep in mind that you’ll have to configure the functions of the Bondix S.A.NE server accordingly. If it gets tricky, Bondix Support will be happy to assist you.
Q: Is the Ethernet port PoE or PoE+?
A: TRB143 does not have PoE/PoE+. M-Bus slaves devices can be powered via M-Bus interface.
Q: Is there support for direct TCP/IP to serial M-Bus port communication?
A: At the moment no. This functionality will be considered in future software upgrades planning
Q: Have you tested any wireless M-Bus converters already?
A: At the moment TRB143 device does not have software support for wireless M-Bus converters
