NOTICE OF CROWD SUPPORT FORUM DATA BREACH
It is with great concern that we inform you of a breach that has occurred within the Teltonika Networks Crowd Support Forum (https://community.teltonika-networks.com) database. Unauthorized individual(s) have gained access to the following user information: usernames, email addresses, encrypted passwords, encrypted IP addresses, users' private messages, and the corresponding content. We want to emphasize that other systems managed by the Company, such as Remote Management Systems (RMS), etc., have not been affected by this incident.
"We have received information from an anonymous individual indicating that the data of users of a technical support forum we manage has been illegally accessed. After verifying this information, we promptly suspended the website and are currently collaborating with cyber security experts to determine the cause of the database breach. We have already notified the forum users about this incident and sincerely apologize to them. Additionally, we have informed the relevant authorities regarding the circumstances of this breach," stated Giedrius Kukauskas, CEO of Teltonika Networks.
The Teltonika Networks Crowd Support Forum was open to all users seeking to ask questions or find answers about Teltonika Networks products and their usage. As the investigation is underway, the Teltonika Networks Crowd Support Forum is temporarily suspended. However, the data of users from other Teltonika Crowd Support Forums remains secure.
